Looks like everyone's too busy stocking up on wine and fags to reply.
For my own part, as a veteran of both the austere 70's ("turn that light out!") and the '88/89 and '92 "market corrections" (oh, and Suzie's 48 crash) I can perhaps be forgiven for feeling rather complacent about this latest little difficulty. It looks to me like there are still plenty of countries who want to join in our little pyramid scam. We'll be fine.
And if it gets really nasty, at least I have a copper bottomed employer. The NHS never goes hungry. Hurrah.
