Ah dear old Dawkins... His latest book a clear example of "books to be argued about purely on the basis of their title"...
Out there, amongst the bookshelves of the middle classes, lives a baby boomer who sits The God Delusion, next to Francis Fukuyama's The End Of History, next to Susie Orbach's Fat Is A Feminist Issue... Sometimes I feel pity for Fukuyama, as I hear moron after moron on Radio 4 begin interviews with "So, after writing The End Of History..." Then I realise how big his bank account must be.
Still.. At least Dawkins can write.
Actually, Dawkins has 2 books in this genre, along with The Selfish Gene... So he definitely deserves it.
'The Selfish Gene' is admittedly amazing but I saw Dawkins on TV recently and he came accross as a proper nobba, so I can't be arsed with his new one.
