Ooh. Painful. The great thing about control is that it necessarily requires the many to be controlled by a few, and so the many could always rise up against the few if they get pissed. The problem comes when thew few have machines which can do the job of 100 men. then the balance becomes very one sided!!!
Reminds me of that old adage: to jump away from the ray-gun and into the sausage maker.
