It is comforting to think that the EU fisheries ministry, famous for it's feeble response to the cod crisis and depletion of fishing stocks, is responsible for such a professional website, first rate acronym and forward thinking policy.
An organisation which has been under fire for *15* years from such aggressive leftwing publications as New Scientist, is progressive enough to finish it's study into this issue in 2007. And what an adorable logo they have too, although the idea of fish managing to eat other fish is adorably quaint in an era of dried and barren seas.
We hope that the EU manages to finish this study and make a decision on how to deal with fishing stocks before, say, 2020. It would be terrible to be too hasty and damage Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Scotlands massively subsidised sea raking industries.
